Evolvae

EVOLVAE is an interactive work that explores a self-sustaining ecosystem inhabited by sentient alien organisms. Patches of algae continually replenish the pool as a consistent food supply. The art work explores the creatures' relationship to their environment -- how the environment affects them and vice versa. As the creatures interact with one another and with the environment, they produce abstract tones to form a melodious soundscape.

Evolvae is coded on the Processing API and is currently a work in progress.
